Yolanda Okereke was born on August 13. She is from the south east part of Nigeria and also from the Igbo tribe. She is from the christian background and also resides in Lagos.She studied chemical engineering at the tertiary educational level.
Career
Yolanda developed her passion for designing women’s clothes while waiting for oil company jobs. She came through as a stylist. She began styling her clients for red carpet events and as time goes on when she was able to get hold of their scripts, she started dressing their characters appropriately.
She began her career as a fashion designer in 2009 before she delved into costume designing for movies in 2012.
She became known for her work on the 2021 Nollywood thriller, La Femme Anjola.
She further showcased her talent with her works on the movie “The Meeting” produced by Rita Dominic, where she was able to give outfit to the likes of Kate Henshaw, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Linda Ejiofor. She also got nomination for her costume design for the film.
