Early Life

Yetunde Are was born on December 17 and grew up in Ibadan, Oyo state part of Nigeria.

She was born into musically inclined family. Her mother, Bola Are is a gospel singer and evangelist.

She attended Omolewa Nursery & Primary, Oritamefa, Ibadan and St Annes Secondary School, Molete, for her primary and secondary education respectively.

She had her National Diploma at National Polytechnic , Offa, Kwara State and obtained a bachelors degree in Business Administration at Ambrose Ali University.

Career

She began singing at a tender age of 4. She obviously didn’t planned to be a singer, she just found herself in the ministry. She had wanted to make music a part time but God led her into the ministry.

Despite every challenges, she has been able to remain consistent in her ministration and proved to be an instrument for reaching out to the larger society with her songs.

She has been able to develop her passion with music influences from the likes of Yolanda Adams, Prophetess Juanita Bynum and Shirley Ceasar.

She has released numerous singles and already boast of more than 6 albums to her credit.
