Early Life & Background
Trod was born Olaonipekun Olatubosun on August 1 in the 1990s. He originally hails from Osun State part of Nigeria.
He is a younger brother to the late legendary indigenous rapper, Dagrin.
He had his primary and secondary education in Ogun State. He also studied Social Science at the Tai-Solarin University of Education (TASUED).
Career
Trod started his career with doing freestyles before he eventually released his first single “Game Yii” in 2011.
He had developed his passion with musical influence from his late brother, Dagrin before the news of his death in 2010. It was a sad moment for everyone in the industry that we lost a prolific rapper.

Trod has come to revive the energy and continue the legacy that Dagrin laid down.
