Early Life
Steph Curry was born on March 14, 1988, in Akron, Ohio, United States, to parents, Sonya and Dell Curry. He was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, after which the family moved to Toronto. He signed the elder brother of the NBA player Seth Curry.
Career
Steph began his career with Davidson Wildcats where he helped them advanced to the Elite Eight in 2008.
He was selected by the Warriors as the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft. He won his first league MVP Award in 2014-15, and led the Warriors to their first championship since 1975. He helped the Warriors win back to back titles inn2017 and 2018, and reach the 2019 NBA Finals, where they lost to the Toronto Raptors. He won his fourth championship with Warriors, defeating the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals.
As an entrepreneur, Curry became known for his partnership with Under Amour. He signed an exclusive autograph contract with Steiner Sports Memorabilia in September 2017. He was involved with the relaunch of Palm, a mobile companion device that pairs with a primary smartphone, in October 2018.
