Seyi Oluwole is a Nigerian filmmaker, screen writer and creative director and dance choreographer born on October 4, 1992.
Oluyole was born and raised in Lagos.
She originally hails from Ondo State, western part of Nigeria.
CAREER
Seyi Oluyole is the founder of Dreamcatchers Academy, a Nigerian free arts programme which uses dance, music and drama to provide educational opportunities for the less privileged kids.
The programme was founded in 2014 in the commercial city of Lagos with the sole purpose of using dance to get disadvantaged children into school.
She began to have passion for the less privileged years back after her father lost his job and her family had to move to the slum area in the Ebute-Metta area of Lagos.
With a major inspiration from Michelle Obama, she has continued to strive to reach her goal.
Oluyole eventually came to limelight after stars like Naomi Campbell, Imaan Hammam and Rihanna founded her online with some of her students dancing and they re-posted it to their Instagram pages.
Other celebrities such as P. Diddy and Beyonce also reposted their dance videos.
For her effort, she won the Humanitarian award 2019 at D&Ksuomi.
She was nominated for Future Awards Africa prize for education and she was nominated for HerNetwork woman of the year in Community Service Award.
Her foundation was nominated for Best Creative social enterprise.

Seyi Oluyole separated from her husband as a result of domestic violence.
Trivia
Her parents had sold their house at mile 2 when she was only 10 years of age. They had slept around before they finally rented a house at Oyingbo, Ebute-Metta.
