Shane Lee Lindstrom (born February 11, 1994) popularly known as Murda Beatz, is a Canadian record producer, songwriter and disc jockey. He came to prominence for his hit single “Shopping Spree” alongside Lil Pump and Sheck Wes. He already boast of other production credits on “Motorsport” by Migos, “Nice for what” by Drake, “My Pockets” by Quavo, “Buzzin” by PartyNextDoor and so on. He is well known for his producer tag “Murda on the Beat, so its not nice”.

Early Life
Murda Beatz was born on February 11, 1994 in Ontario, Canada. He was raised in Fort Erie, to be precise. He moved to Chicago at the age of 18.
He had a musical background and also played drums as a child. He grew up with his parents while listening to rock music. His dad always wanted him to play the guitar but he preferred more of drums.
He attended Forte Eerie Secondary School for his secondary education.

Career
Murda Beatz developed interest in music at a very young age where he loved to play musical instruments like the drumset. He started producing beat at the age of 17 while using FL Studio.
He got his first opportunity as a producer with Soulja Boy on a remix of Rocky Diamond’s song.
He came to limelight for being featured on his productions for the likes of Mustard and DJ Khaled.
He came through with his first mixtape “Keep God First”, in December 2016 and released his first single as a lead artists, titled “Shopping Spree”, alongside Lil Pump and Sheck Wes, in 2019. The same year, he unveiled his own record label called “Murda Beatz Recordings” and signed the artist, Adam Halliday.
He released his second single titled “Banana Split”, in March 2020, while featuring YNW Melly and Lil Durk.
He has also produced beats for top artistz like Drake, Miley Cyrus, Gucci Mane, Future, Young Scooter, Migos and many others.
