M’kido was born Mujeeb Adekunle Amosun on June 7, 1995. He hails from Osun State, Nigeria. He ist a student of the University of Ilorin where he’s studying European languages (French and German to be precise).
Career
Mkido had interest music at a very early stage in life and was able to develop his passion with music influences from the likes of Akon, Sarkodie, Maher Zain, La Fouine, 2face Idibia, Rico Amaj, and so on.
While in school, he became popular for his song “Howfarnah” and ever since then he has improved in his craft.
He came through professionally when he travelled to Ivory Coast and joined a group named Raven, comprising of two artistes Sherrykay and Tberry. He shot his first video “joromi” under Raven Ent. and also released the song “Koloba” with his colleagues.
M’kido came to the limelight for the song “Yemasa” which went viral on the video sharing platform TikTok. He followed up with the release of the exciting song “Shalaye” which is also having a share of the popularity.
