Maureen Mumbi Nkandu (born May 1, 1967) is a Zambian media personality. She is the director of the United Nations Information Centre in Pretoria, South Africa. She is one of Zambia’s most celebrated television personality.

Maureen Nakndu was born in Lusaka, Zambia on May 1, 1967.
Career
She started her career as a journalist at the age of 18. After her school, she became the youngest ever journalist to work for Zambia Broadcasting Services which later changed to Zambia National Broadcasting corportaion (ZNBC)
She is a Zambian journalist, communications and international relations specialist with over 25 years of work experience in global organization which include the likes of United Nations, British Broadcasting Corporation and the African Union.

She got married to Cosmas Chileshe, a journalist, in 2018.
