Mirriam Mukape professionally known as Mampi, is a Zambian singer and songwriter born on August 4, 1986. Mampi is a versatile singer with music genres of Kwaito and reggae. She was one of the celebrity housemates at the Big Brother Africa season 7.

Early Life & Background
Mampi was born on August 4, 1986 in Lusaka, Zambia. Her mother had died from cancer while her father and brother were murdered when she was 16 years of age.
She went to Muyooma Basic School for her primary education and for her secondary education, she attended Libala High School and the Springfields Coaching Centre in Lusaka.
Career
Mampi began her music career in 2003 after being discovered by a music producer and then got a record deal.
She came through with her first album “Maloza” in 2005 and the followed it up with her second album “Chimo ni Chimo” in 2007. She released her third album “Natural born star” in 2012.
She released her single “Nyula Yako” in December 2017 and of course the song was accompanied with a lovely music video
