Early Life & Background

Lindsey Abudei was born on February 6, 1987. She was born and raised in Jos Plateau State but originally from Delta State part of Nigeria.

She obtained a law degree from the University of Jos.

Career

Lindsey Abudei started her career as a backup singer for the South-African singer, Sonti Mndebele, the lead singer for a local jazz band, The Jazzcats.

She has been able to develop her passion with musical influence from the likes of Lauryn Hill, Roberta Falck, Eva Cassidy, Sarah Mc Lachlan and so on.

She has collaborated with the likes of MI Abaga, Jesse Jagz and of course the British Trumpeter, Tom Arthurs.

She has also been an opening act for the likes of Asa and Mi Casa.

She released her EP “Brown” in 2013 and some of the songs on the project were used in the blockbuster Nollywood movie “Isoken”.

She also came through with her debut album “…And the Bass Queen” in 2016.

She released another single in April 2020 titled “One on the Outside”. The song is said to be off her upcoming project “Kaleidoscope”.
