Fikile April Mbalula (born April 8,1971) popularly known as Fikile Mbalula, is a prominent South African politician. He became known for being the Minister and Deputy minister of police and Minister of sports and Recreation. He is the Minister of Transport and a member of the National Executive Committee of the African National Congress and former leader of the African National Congress Youth League.

Fikile was born on April 8, 1971 in Botshabelo, South Africa.
He is trained in leadership skills by the Career Research and Information Center and as a councilor by the Organization for Appropriate Social Service in psychotherapy in South Africa.
Career
Mbalula became a secretary general of NCYL from 1998 to 2004 and in 2009,he became the Deputy Minister of Police.
He served as a Minister for Sports and Recreation from 1st of November 2010 till 31st March 2017. He later became Minister of police in 31st March 31st to February 26, 2018.
He was appointed by Cyril Ramaphosa in May 2019 to the post of Minister of Transport, succeeding Blade Nzimande.
