He was a member of the music group Shin Sekai alongside Abou Tall from 2012 to 2016 where they released their album “Indefini” under the Wasi B record label.
Early Life & Background
He grew up in a music family where his father, Djanana was a vocalist of Papa Wemba’s band and his brother another Maitre Gims, is a famous rapper and a member of the French rap group “Sexion d’Assaut”. His two other brothers, Bedjik and Xgangs are also professioanl rappers.
Career
Dadju came through with his debut solo album “Gentleman 2.0” on the Universal Music Label in 2017.
He rose to fame with his hit single “Reine” in 2017. The song occupied the nine spot on French music charts.
He already boast of top collaborations with the likes of Alonzo, KeBlack, Aya Nakamura, Abou Debeing, Naza and many others.
