Blessing Oborududu is a Nigerian freestyle wrestler with numerous medals to her credit. She became number three in the Women 68 kg weight class after her bronze medal feat at Matteo Pellicone Ranking series tournament in Tome, Italy. She repreaented Nigeria at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

Early Life
Blessing Oborududu was born on March 12, 1989 in Gbanranu.
She attended Saint Jude’s Girls Secondary School Amaratan, Yenagoa in Bayelsa State
Career
Oborududu developed interest in wrestling while in secondary school. She was quite outstanding in Inter-house competition and that defined her path in the wrestling field.
She came through with her first official outing in the Ogun state Gateway games in 2006 where she represented Bayelsa State. She followed it up in 2007 after she attended the All Africa Games camp without being invited as she was determined to train with the wrestlers.
However, she got her break into the National team in 2008 but was unable to travel with them due to Visa issue. She never relent on her effort as she won the gold medal at the National Sports Festival in 2009 and also made the Team Nigeria Wrestling list to the African Championship in the same year where she won a bronze medal.
Ever since Oborududu came to limelight, she has been winning medals back to back with amazing performances. She has gone on to represent Nigeria at the 2020 summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
