Early Life
Wojcicki was born on in Palo Alto, California, United States. She grew up on Standford’s campus alongside her two older sisters. One of her sister, Susan Wojcicki, is the CEO of YouTube and the other sister, Janet Wojcicki, is an anthropologist and epidemiologist.
Her mother, Esther Wojcicki who is of Jewish descent, is an educator while her father, Stanley Wojcicki, is a Polish-born physics professor at Standford University.
She went to Gunn High School Palo Alto, California and also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Yale University.
Career
Prior to fame, Wojcicki was a health care investment analyst where she worked at Passport Capital, a San Francisco based investment fund.
She became known as the co-founder and CEO of 23andMe, alongside Linda Avey and Paul Cusenza. It is a direct to consumer DNA testing company, which gives room for consumers to test for health risks. It was founded in 2006, with a goal of providing people access to their genetic information, which could further provide information on cures for diseases.

Anne Wojcicki got married to Sergey Brin, Google co-founder, in May 2007. Both parted ways in 2013 and divorced officially in 2015.
They have two children together namy; a son, Benji Wojin (born in December 2008), and a daughter, Chloe Wojin (born in 2011).
