Alexis Mac Allister was born on December 4, 1998, in Santa Rosa, Argentina, to parents, Carlos Mac Allister and Silvina Riela.
He has two brothers, Francis and Kevin who are also footballers.
Career
Mac Allister began his football career at the youth level with Argentinos Juniors and made his professional debut for the club on October 30, 2016, where he came as a substitute for Ivan Colman in the second half of the game which ended 0-0 with Central Cordoba.
He scored his first professional goal in a 2-1 loss against Instituto on March 10, 2017. He played alongside his two brothers, Francis and Kevin in a 1-0 loss at San Lorenzo.
He joined the English club Brighton & Hove Albion on a four-and-a-half-year deal on January 24, 2019. He went on loan to Argentinos Juniors for the remainder of the 2018-19 season. He also went on loan to Boca Juniors where he won the 2019-20 Primera Division.
After an amazing loan spells, he returned to Brighton & Hove Albion and became one of their major key player.
He represented Argentina at the under-23 levels before being called up to the senior team in 2019.
He had a major impact in the Argentine national team who won the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
