Early Life
Yinka TNT was born on September 4. She is the first child of her mother and has a younger sibling, a brother to be precise. Her mother is from Ogbayi Akoko, Ondo State while her late father is from Ikare Akoko in Ondo State.
She went to Ekimogun Nursery School and Surulere primary school for her elementary education. She also attended Akintan Grammar School, Surulere, Lagoa for her secondary education.
She attended Lagos State Polytechnic before she crossed over to Unuversity of Ado-Ekiti where she majored in English language. She also enrolled for speech presentation and etiquette with Sidney Offeni Film Institute of Speak Right, Stand Right. She alao had some courses in the aviation industry before she began to work as an air hostess.
Career
Yinka TNT developed passion for music at the age of 12 while being in the church choir. She became a leader in the church choir when she was 18 years old.
Her inspiration for music came from her travelling for the first time to abroad where she discovered that lots of Nigerians are just living fake lives, suffering abroad while doing odd jobs and pretending that they are living in luxury to the people back at home. She resolved to advocate a contented life of hope and determination for people through her music, which formed the bedrock of her first album.
Yinka TNT is into African Contemporary music which is an inspirational and motivational genre of music as she intends to use her talent to pass positive messages across the people.
She released her first album, Teni-Teni in 2010. The album was all about what she experience after travelling abroad. The album comprised of songs which are meant to enlighten, advice and appreciate her fans. She came through with a second album, Ise Mi in 2011 as produced by Tolu Fafowora. Her third album titled ‘Ko Si O’ is filled with powerful songs that encompasses African culture and tradition.
