Early Life
Rebecca Akosua was born on July 26, 1993, in Accra, Ghana. She is the younger sister of the Nigerian singer, Lola Rae, who is also the girlfriend of the Nigerian music star, Tekno.
Her family had moved to Nigeria at a tender age, where spent the first seventeen years of her life before emigrating to the United kingdom for her university education.
Career
Rebecca got her music inspiratiom from listening to the likes of Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Miles Davis and so on.
She began composing songs at a very young age and also competed in numerous talent shows.
She came through professionally in 2014 and released a cover of Emily Sande’s song “Break The Law”.
She collaborated with Krept and Konan on the album “The Long Way”, in 2015 as she got featured on the songs I don’t Know, Wait Up For Me and Fell Apart .
She came through with an official single “Don’t” in February 2020 and also followed it up with her debut EP titled “Take Me Home”.
