Early Life
Shalewa Ashafa was born in Lagos. She is the last child of her mother.
She is originally from Ogun State. She is a beautiful actress with a good sense of fashion
Ashafa went to Christ The Cornerstone Nursery and Primary School, GRA Ikeja, Lagos and Christ The Cornerstone High School, Adeniyi Jones, Lagos for both her primary and secondary education respectively. She complted her secondary education at Belina College, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos.
She is a student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) who majors in Advertising
Career
Shalewa started acting at the age of 19 and got her first role in the stage play “Pound of Flesh”
she got first television role in the TV series Tinsel where and got more exposure for her role in Mnet’s Hotel Majestic
She eventually came to limelight for her role as Elakeche in “Ajoche” which has been one of the most challenging role for her.
Prior to fame, she has done voice over acting for two years and aside acting, she is also a scriptwriter and copywriter.
She has starred in other TV series such as Riona, Ndani TV’s in “Phases” as Wande, “Life As It Is” and so on. She also featured in Ycee’s music video for “Nu Riddim”.
