Fundiswa Zwane was born on June 6, 1985 in Port Shepstone in KwaZulu Natal province of South Africa where she also grew up.
Fundi as fondly called started acting in her third year as a student in film school.

Zwane came through professionally with roles in numerous TV series.
Finally, she came to prominence for her her role as Rethabile on SABC soap opera, Generations. She also starred in other series such as Drivers down, Traffic and Imbewu: The Seed.
