Rekiya Yusuf is an award winning Nigerian actress, host and TV presenter born on November 28, 1990.
Rekiya was born in Kaduna but originally from Okene part of Kogi State.
She is the fourth child in a family of five children.
She obtained a Bachelors degree in Microbiology at Kogi State University.
She also studied Acting at Royal Arts Academy.
Career
Rekiya Yusuf came to limelight for her role as Mimi in the TV series ‘Flatmates’.
She featured in the TV series “Flat Mates” alongside the likes of Yaw, Basketmouth and Buchi the comedian.
She has starred in numerous movies and TV series which include; the calabash, spotlight, Drunk in love, The Siege, Ransom and so on.
She has also worked with top actors which include the likes of Bimbo Ademoye, Efe Irele and Bolaji Ogunmola.

Rekiya has won numerous awards such as:
- Best Actress in a comedy series (flatmates) at Ghana Naija Showbiz awards (2017)
- Award for Excellence at Royal Arts Academy (2017)
She also got nomination for Best new act at Maya Awards Africa and Best New Act at Maya Awards Africa (2017).

Controversies
She was in the news after being reportedly called out on social media by the wife of her oil tycoon sugar daddy after her alleged romantic affiliation with her husband.
However, it was said that the suger daddy, Mr Chike decided to call it quit in a bid to save his marriage.
